What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is about helping you set and achieve your goals. It is also about learning to prioritise, manage your time and stress levels and find ways to get what you want to get out of life, whatever that may be. With the help of a coach clients are better able to form a vision of what they want, aim higher and stay motivated to achieve their vision.
A life coach is trained to help you better understand and achieve the outcomes you want for your life and to address the different areas of your life, such as relationships, health, fitness, career, work-life balance and confidence so that your everyday enjoyment of life improves.
A coach will use specific techniques and exercises as well as providing support and encouragement. Each life coach has different areas of coaching they specialise in. At Shape It Up! we specialise in personal coaching and we have a specific interest in holistic, health oriented coaching, emotional intelligence, learned optimism and down-to-earth support.
In order to get what you want to get out of life you need to – a. Figure out exactly what you want and ensure that this is in keeping with your deeper value system. b. Figure out exactly what you need to do to get to where you want to be and most importantly c. You need to DO IT!
